Reasons to contact Alive Customer Service include:
- Selling or purchasing a vehicle or home
- Adding or removing a driver
- Major construction on your home or adding solar panels
- Changing lienholder or mortgage lender information/you received a letter from your lender
- Changes to your billing method or address
- Making a payment and need assistance
- Cancelling a policy
If you are considering filing a claim:
- Contact your agent, or someone in our office if you need a consultation before filing a claim. We would be happy to let you know how it will impact your policy in the future.
- Document the event by taking pictures and writing down everything you can remember, so you don’t forget important details later on.
WHEN WE CONTACT YOU:
Policy service: Our Customer Service Specialists may contact you if your carrier is requesting more information about your policy, or to follow up on a request from you to change your policy, or complete a form as a condition of renewal. Remember to open every letter from your carrier, every email from us, or your carrier, and to respond in a timely manner. Failure to provide the requested information often leads to a nonrenewal.
Renewals: We are one of the few agencies that make the effort to contact every one of our clients within a month before each policy renews. A policy review is NOT about paying your bill, although we are happy to assist if you have questions. We want to make sure your policy is up to date, and that only takes a few minutes. Over the years, we've helped many of our clients avoid disaster, simply by having a conversation.
When it's your turn, you'll receive a quick call from one of our Customer Service Specialists, to see if you would like to schedule a policy review by phone with one of our agents. We strongly recommend that you schedule this call. Why?
- We check for changes you've made that require updating your coverage.
- We look for coverage gaps - many of our clients are underinsured!
- We hunt for every last discount you are eligible for.
